Compliance of a rigid joint of a steel column of I-section on a rigid foundation

Analysis of the results showed that the inclusion of compliance at a sufficiently accurate numerical simulation gives the same value for compressive forces.Thus, this node can be considered rigid, and the coefficient of buckling is almost equal to the theoretical value.
